At Age 22, DC Resident Founds Exceptional Nonprofit Organization -Leadership Initiatives
This is the first Interview in a series with Marshall Bailly, founder of Leadership Initiatives. Six years after founding Leadership Initiatives, the Nonprofit is gaining momentum in its mission to empower university students from less developed countries to become the ethical leaders of their countries in the future. Leadership Initiatives trains university students to create their own solutions to their own local problems.

From Small Town Farmer to Successful Businessman
Here are some stories from the life of Charles S. Wassum, my great-grandfather. He was a farmboy from a town of 100 people in the late 1800's, Charles dreamed big and went on to develop a lot of land in southern Virginia and was central in the opening of the first theatre in Marion, VA - The Lincoln Theatre(He also did other successful businesses selling boxwoods, etc.). Sherwood Anderson, the writer and most famous person to live in Marion, VA wrote often about Charles in his editorials.
